use automatic trans.fluid.
soak the foam completely,then,wring it out.
if you notice a little smoke from the exaust,dont be alarmed,because some of the fluid will most likey get sucked into the intake.check the filter after about 100 mi.it should still be moist with oil,if not,put some more on it because the oil is what traps the fine dirt particles.
